Cousins

The Riordan brothers are here with families for their annual campout. The men/boys leave for 3-4 days and what happens at their campout stays at the campout...except for a few video tapes that came into my possesion last year Ü
The cousins all enjoy seeing each other again and there are SO many that there will always be plenty of pics here !
They will all be on here at some point Ü

June

May and June bring cottonwood chaos to Southern Oregon.
The air is dancing with little balls of cottonfluff.
Cute! you might say, but FAR from it!
Most of us with allergies, meet each other while standing
in line at pharmaceutical places..... arms full of
Puffs Plus, Benedryl, Dayquill and eyedrops of our choice !
Emily and I cringe at the thought of it each year, but we make it through..barelyÜ

Cody graduated Kindergarten this year. Because the school is not state funded, we have two major fundraisers each year to raise monies for curriculum, teachers etc. The Jog A Thon is in May. I ended up running with half of Cody's class and had fun with the kids. Cody ran 18 laps in the alloted time. Because of his laps and funds raised he was surprised with a Limo ride to Dairy Queen the last day of school. He was so excited. His teacher Miss Terra, changed into her shorts and sandals and rode in the limo, with the boys in her class that earned it.

Emily is working hard to get ready for IMTA in New York in July. She has been working at the YMCA with a trainer and by herself. Just saying NO to Ben and Jerry's has been excruciating Ü They want her in the Fitness Modeling Division and Acting. She has been looking for material for a one minute monologue and just found one. It is from a surfing movie called Blue Crush and they agreed it was perfect for Em. We hope it is a fun experience for her.

John has been working hard the past year to get healthier. He has lost 25 plus pounds and is looking great! He gets up at 4 am every morning and Jogs, plays racket ball or works out on his weights. I have been very proud of his dedication. We have enjoyed golfing together again and wish we could more often!

I have been busy taxing kids to Karate lessons, swim lessons and Foster child visatations. It looks like it will be a busy summer. We will have our Foster daughter probably to the end of
July. She has grown so much and will have been with us for six months. We will miss her. She turns one next week.
My goal is to get through all the unmarked boxes from our BIG move and try and get back to simple life again . The LESS IS MORE lifestyle! I just did the school's teacher "closet room" and that was a huge undertaking...I just wish doing it in my OWN house was as fun !
John's brother's have their yearly campout coming up and there are lots of little Riordans running around here for awhile. We may need to rent a campground at some point in the years to come Ü

Hello!

I thought it would be nice to try and have a little Family blog,
to share all our fun and chaos with friends and family!
I hope this format allows more of you to see pictures and keep
in touch with us. I will update each month and more frequently
if events occur.

If you know me, you know the pictures will be changing frequently,
so keep checking in!
