Wildlife Safari

Last weekend we went to Winston,Oregon for a ride through the

Wildlife Safari Park. http://www.wildlifesafari.org/

We had to take pictures through the window many times, click on the website to see some great shots of the animals!

It is a drive through park, where the animals are out roaming free of cages. We were a bit worried that the morning weather would damper our chances of seeing them close up, as it was raining and a bit chilly. Things did warm up however and we were able to drive through the park twice; with the sun out and warm the second time around. We took a family friend for his Birthday and we all had so much fun. The video camera came along and we caught many animals coming up to the car and an Emu that tried very hard to come IN and grabbed a corner of our guide paper...notice the corner of his mouth ! Ü

And here were the WILDEST animals of all !

Our Foster son is a little over a month old now and having challenges, but over all doing so much better. He is so sweet and we really enjoy having him in our home. The weather here is getting into the 30's at night and the leaves are changing into their bright colors...I cannot believe how FAST this year has gone by ! Enjoy each day!
